I Feel It In My Bone Marrow

I Feel It In My Bone Marrow is a monologue describing a walk remembered in real time and was originally created as part of my Practice-as-Research exploration of northern English identity.

'Ooo Blackpool - that's a thought - Ooo you could put me on the bar in a jar labelled 'Our Most Loyal Customer Who Never Said A Word' - and the jar won't be air tight so the ashes will soak up the smell of stale ale - I bloody love that smell.....and on occasion one of the girls will serenade the jar - it will be the penultimate song of her set - there won't be a dry eye in the house - the song will probably be Someone Like You by Adele...''
